The final leg of our trip before heading back to Hanoi was Cambodia. We landed in the capital city Phnom Penh and first stop of our half day of sightseeing was the royal palace. The royals however are not seen much in this palace as they live in Beijing, China.

After Phnom Penh we arrived at Michael's favourite destination - Angkor Wat in Siem Reap. And what a spectacular view it was. This amazing temple was build during the 12th century. To our surprise there were more Angkors than just the "Wat". Angkor Thom, meaning the "Great City" was the largest city in the Khmer empire and even bigger than Angkor Wat. At the center of the complex is an impressive temple called the Bayon.
